What he didn’t know was that it wasn’t the fireworks being considerate,  but rather Qin Chengyu, who had arranged for the fireworks, being thoughtful. Qin Chengyu’s eyes carried a doting smile, yet his gaze never strayed from the dazzling fireworks for even a moment.

Just then, the sound of fireworks outside caught Nian Jinsui’s attention. He looked up, but unfortunately, he could only see a small section of the illuminated sky and a few sparks.
