SDS: Chapter 68
Let’s Try a French Kiss
Qin Zhiyan scooped up a spoonful of congee, blew on it gently, then brought it to Tang Keyi's lips.
Tang Keyi ate it cleanly in one bite—the temperature was just right.
He was truly hungry.
After a couple more bites, Tang Keyi suddenly remembered Qin Zhiyan hadn’t eaten yet.
"Yanyan, aren’t you hungry?"
Qin Zhiyan didn’t pause, continuing to feed Tang Keyi as he replied,
"I am, a little."
"Then I’ll eat by myself. You go ahead and have your meal."
Tang Keyi reached for the bowl, but Qin Zhiyan deftly moved it out of his grasp.
"But I don’t want to eat." Qin Zhiyan’s gaze darkened.
"Then what do you want? I’ll ask the housekeeper to make it for you." Tang Keyi was confused.
Qin Zhiyan leisurely set the bowl aside and leaned down, eyes locked on Tang Keyi. "I want to eat tang (candy/sugar)."
Tang Keyi frowned skeptically. "You’re not a child. Why would you want candy?"
In an instant, Qin Zhiyan closed the distance, sealing Tang Keyi’s lips with his own before pulling back.
"What kind of candy? You are my candy."
Tang Keyi’s face flushed scarlet. "I’m still sick! What if you catch it?"
"It’s fine. I’m not as delicate as you." Qin Zhiyan pressed a tender kiss to Tang Keyi’s forehead. "Don’t scare me like that again, okay? Tangtang."
Tang Keyi looped his arms around Qin Zhiyan’s neck and answered softly, "Okay."
After the fever subsided, Tang Keyi developed a nasty cold, sniffling for days before finally recovering.
By the time he returned to work, it was already the second week.
Tang Keyi typed mechanically on his laptop, his focus gradually drifting from the screen until it settled entirely on the man at the head of the conference table.
Qin Zhiyan leaned back in his chair, reviewing a report with a cool, detached air. One hand rested casually on the black marble table—pale, slender fingers stark against the dark surface, like an exquisitely composed painting.
[Our Yanyan just keeps getting better-looking the more I stare.]
[I don’t feel like taking notes. There’s a recording anyway—I’ll fill them in later.]
Tang Keyi gave up entirely on pretending to work, openly admiring Qin Zhiyan instead.
[Come to think of it, it’s been days since we last kissed.]
With his nose running relentlessly, Tang Keyi had been wearing a mask to avoid ruining his image (and infecting Qin Zhiyan), steadfastly rejecting any intimacy.
Now that he was better, he missed it.
Qin Zhiyan’s grip on his pen tightened. He glanced up, shooting Tang Keyi a warning look to behave—they were in a meeting.
Unfortunately, Tang Keyi completely missed the reprimand in his gaze and kept daydreaming.
[Did Yanyan just sneak a peek at me?]
[I knew our Yanyan is the clingiest.]
[So cute. I wanna 太阳 (tàiyáng - "sun" him).]
Qin Zhiyan: "..."
Whether he was clingy or not, he didn’t know, but Tang Keyi had definitely become more so—especially after this illness.
In his thoughts, Tang Keyi no longer used his full name. Instead, it was always "our Yanyan" or "my Yanyan"—terms dripping with possessiveness.
But what did "wanna sun him" mean?
Never mind. Now wasn’t the time to dwell on it.
Qin Zhiyan pinched the bridge of his nose, refocusing on the meeting.
He could handle Tang Keyi’s mental chatter.
But within seconds, Qin Zhiyan nearly snapped his pen in half.
[We’ve kissed so many times, but we’ve never tried a French kiss.]
[I wonder if it’s technically challenging?]
[Maybe I should go home and practice. Gotta give Yanyan the best experience!]
[The tongue is probably the key, right?]
Qin Zhiyan tossed his pen aside and stood abruptly, his voice icy as he suppressed... something. "Meeting adjourned. Resume in one hour."
The room buzzed with surprise. Did President Qin have an emergency?
His gaze landed on Tang Keyi, who looked equally startled. "With me."
Baffled, Tang Keyi followed Qin Zhiyan into the CEO’s office.
"Yanyan, what’s wrong?"
Studying Qin Zhiyan’s sharp profile, Tang Keyi waited for an explanation.
Qin Zhiyan didn’t answer. Instead, he grabbed Tang Keyi’s wrist and dragged him straight into the attached lounge.
The door slammed shut.
In one swift motion, Qin Zhiyan pinned Tang Keyi against it.
His dark eyes burned with something turbulent.
Under that gaze, Tang Keyi’s mouth went dry. Unconsciously, he wet his lower lip.
That single motion ignited Qin Zhiyan.
"Yan—"
Tang Keyi’s words were cut off as Qin Zhiyan captured his lips, turning whatever he’d meant to say into a series of breathy, fragmented sounds.
This kiss was noticeably more aggressive and intense than before.
Tang Keyi’s eyes widened slightly when he felt something slick and warm slide against his own.
By the time Qin Zhiyan finally pulled back—reluctantly—Tang Keyi was boneless, clinging to him dazedly.
A thin strand of saliva stretched between them before breaking.
Qin Zhiyan scooped up the flushed, disoriented Tang Keyi and deposited him on the bed.
With skills like this, you still want to give me a 'best experience'?
He nearly laughed aloud.
Tang Keyi took a few steadying breaths before glaring at Qin Zhiyan, his embarrassment tipping into indignation. "We were in the middle of a meeting! How could you suddenly get so... worked up? Can’t you control yourself?"
Qin Zhiyan: "..."
Who was the one suddenly getting worked up?!
Later, while working, Qin Zhiyan suddenly remembered something and turned to Cong Qiao.
"Do you know what 'wanna sun him' means?"
TL Note:
The phrase "I wanna 太阳 (tàiyáng) him" is a playful and somewhat cheeky internet slang term in Chinese, where "太阳" (tàiyáng, literally "sun") is used as a euphemism for "fuck" or "have sex with."
I find this slang really interesting so I'm including the breakdown 👍
Breakdown:
Literal Meaning:
太阳 (tàiyáng) = "sun"
But in this context, it’s a homophone pun for "日" (rì), which literally means "day" or "sun" but is also a vulgar slang term for sexual intercourse (similar to how "screw" or "bang" is used in English).
Why "太阳"?
The character "日" (rì) is embedded within "太阳" (tàiyáng), making it a humorous, indirect way to say it without being overly explicit.
It’s often used online or in memes to soften the crudeness while keeping the suggestive meaning.
Translation:
"I wanna 太阳 him" = "I wanna fuck him" (but with a playful, teasing tone).
