Chapter 34 Willingly Becoming Nian Jin Sui’s Dog

As soon as Nian Jin Sui entered the classroom, he saw Ye Kang waving from the last row.

“Young Master Nian, over here! I saved you a seat!”

Only then did Nian Jin Sui remember that Ye Kang was in the same class as him.

Left with no other choice, he walked over to sit with him.

“Young Master Nian, why did you and Qin Cheng Yu leave early the other day? Was Johnny’s service unsatisfactory? If there’s anything you’re unhappy with, I’ll go file a complaint,”

Ye Kang asked.

“It wasn’t his fault. I just wasn’t in the mood that day and didn’t want to disturb you, so I left with Qin Cheng Yu.”

“Oh, I see. Well, next time you’re interested, we’ll go again.”

“Sure, next time,”

Nian Jin Sui replied dismissively.

The lecture began, and Nian Jin Sui found himself nodding off.

He had no prior experience with these subjects, and the classes were putting him to sleep.

Thankfully, his persona as a spoiled, lazy rich kid meant that no one would suspect anything, even if he flunked all his exams.

Finally, the class ended, and it was time to switch classrooms.

The next class was upstairs, and Nian Jin Sui needed to go up a floor.

Packing his things, he moved into his wheelchair, mentally preparing to ask Ye Kang for help with the stairs.

To his surprise, Qin Cheng Yu was already waiting at the classroom door when he rolled out.

“Qin Cheng Yu? Why are you here?”

Nian Jin Sui asked, surprised.

Qin Cheng Yu stepped behind the wheelchair and began pushing it.

“Your next class is upstairs.”

“How did you know that?”

“I looked at your schedule.”

“You didn’t have to go out of your way. I could’ve asked Ye Kang for help.”

Hearing this, Ye Kang, already annoyed with Qin Cheng Yu, sneered,

“Exactly. You don’t need to be here, yet you came running. What are you up to? Trying to curry favor?”

Nian Jin Sui frowned at Ye Kang’s hostility and turned to Qin Cheng Yu.

“It’s fine. You don’t have to come during breaks anymore.”

Ye Kang chimed in again, unwilling to let go,

“Exactly! I’m here for Young Master Nian—”

Before Ye Kang could finish, Qin Cheng Yu leaned down and scooped Nian Jin Sui into his arms.

With a cold glance at Ye Kang, he said,

“Then you carry the wheelchair upstairs.”

Without waiting for a reply, Qin Cheng Yu strode toward the stairs.

“Qin Cheng Yu!”

Ye Kang glared at his retreating figure, powerless to do anything.

Frustrated, he kicked the wheelchair.

In Qin Cheng Yu’s arms, Nian Jin Sui could feel the stares from his classmates and felt his face heat up.

He muttered, “Qin Cheng Yu, don’t carry me like this next time. Use a piggyback instead…”

It was so embarrassing.

“Young Master Nian doesn’t like being carried? Why didn’t you say so earlier?”

Qin Cheng Yu’s tone was calm, devoid of any teasing.

“At home, it doesn’t matter. But here, with so many people watching, it’s different!”

Nian Jin Sui grumbled.

“Understood,”

Qin Cheng Yu replied, his tone as composed as ever.

But to Nian Jin Sui, it carried a faint hint of amusement.

Hmph, even villains enjoy watching others embarrass themselves.

“By the way, I told you not to come during breaks. Did you get that?”

Nian Jin Sui asked again.

“Yes, I heard,”

Qin Cheng Yu replied. After a pause, he added,

“But I’ll still come. Before going abroad, Mr. Nian instructed me to take good care of you.”

“I already said you don’t need to…”

Nian Jin Sui felt exasperated, but seeing the determined look in Qin Cheng Yu’s eyes, he relented.

“Fine, do whatever you want.”

After placing Nian Jin Sui in a back-row seat in the new classroom, Qin Cheng Yu left.

Only then did Nian Jin Sui realize something.

Why did I just listen to him?

And that look in Qin Cheng Yu’s eyes… Too intense.

No wonder he’s the strongest villain.

As Qin Cheng Yu exited the classroom, he bumped into Ye Kang, who was just carrying the wheelchair upstairs.

Trying to ignore him, Qin Cheng Yu was about to walk past when Ye Kang called out,

“Qin Cheng Yu, are you so used to being a servant in the Qin family that you’re now groveling at the Nian family too?”

Qin Cheng Yu stopped and turned, meeting Ye Kang’s eyes.

“Are you jealous of me?”

Ye Kang sneered.

“Jealous of what? You’re just a stray dog. What’s there to envy?”

“My clothes,”

Qin Cheng Yu said evenly,

“were all bought by Young Master Nian.”

This casual statement hit Ye Kang where it hurt.

He hadn’t even noticed what Qin Cheng Yu was wearing,

but now he realized—it was the latest collection from a luxury brand.

All bought by Nian Jin Sui.

Meanwhile, Ye Kang had been embarrassed just days ago when he was told he could no longer charge purchases to Nian Jin Sui’s account.

His mocking smile twisted into a grimace.

Was Qin Cheng Yu replacing him?

Satisfied with the reaction, Qin Cheng Yu’s expression turned to one of disdain.

As if brushing off dirt, he turned and walked away.

From behind, Ye Kang’s angry voice rang out,

“Aren’t you the second young master of the Qin family? How can you willingly become Nian Jin Sui’s dog?”

Qin Cheng Yu didn’t stop, descending the stairs without a backward glance.

Only after a while did he slow his pace.

Did I just…

show off to Ye Kang?

He couldn’t believe he’d done something so childish and even felt a trace of satisfaction at Ye Kang’s frustration.

Everyone thinks I’m a dog.

Isn’t that what Nian Jin Sui said too?

Smirking self-deprecatingly, Qin Cheng Yu shrugged off the thought and continued on his way.

That evening, Ning Liang An returned home after work,

only to find Chu He Ting waiting at his door.

It was clear that Chu He Ting had been waiting specifically for him.

“Liang An, I heard you transferred to the business academy. How’s it going? Is anyone giving you a hard time?”

Chu He Ting’s tone was full of concern.

“I’m doing fine. No one’s troubling me,”

Ning Liang An replied coolly.

Noticing the distant tone, Chu He Ting felt confused.

Just days ago, they’d gotten along well. He’d even felt Ning Liang An was warming up to him.

How had things changed so quickly?

“Liang An…”

Before he could finish, Ning Liang An interrupted.

“Young Master Chu, didn’t you promise not to bother me anymore once I recovered? I hope you’ll keep your word,”

Ning Liang An said, his tone cold and firm.

Chu He Ting froze, staring at Ning Liang An in disbelief.

After a long pause, he murmured,

“Ning Liang An, you’re so heartless…”

Seeing the once-proud Chu He Ting look so dejected, Ning Liang An felt a pang of guilt.

His lips moved as if to say something, but in the end, he remained silent.
