Forget about Ye Kang—
he’s clearly into this kind of thing.
But Qin Cheng Yu is still a pure-hearted kid. Did I just corrupt him?
Nian Jin Sui suddenly felt a pang of guilt.
But then he reconsidered.
Qin Cheng Yu is an adult.
No one can force him into anything.
Maybe he’s enjoying himself.
Meanwhile, the "pure-hearted kid" Qin Cheng Yu was sitting calmly on a sofa outside.
He might not have been to such a place before,
but that didn’t mean he was clueless.
When Xiao Liu first wheeled Qin Cheng Yu into the private room,
Qin Cheng Yu immediately stood up.
Lifting his eyelids slightly, he spoke in a cool, detached voice:
“That’s enough. You can leave now.”
Xiao Liu, caught off guard by the sudden commanding aura of someone who had been so quiet before, didn’t dare push his luck like Johnny had.
He quickly complied and exited.
Qin Cheng Yu also left the private room and returned to the lounge,
sitting alone where they had been massaged earlier.
From the room where Ye Kang was, faint suggestive noises leaked out, making Qin Cheng Yu frown in disgust.
His gaze shifted to the door of Nian Jin Sui’s room,
his expression dark and unreadable.
Could Nian Jin Sui also be…
Qin Cheng Yu reminded himself that these wealthy heirs had all kinds of ways to enjoy themselves.
Their lives were colorful, full of indulgence—it wasn’t surprising.
But still… there was a strange sense of displeasure in his chest.
Qin Cheng Yu couldn’t quite articulate the feeling.
It was as if he had bought a beautiful vase,
only to find someone else had taken it to play with when he wasn’t looking.
And perhaps this vase had already been passed around by many people before.
Suddenly, the door to Nian Jin Sui’s room opened.
Qin Cheng Yu turned his head, seeing Johnny step out.
“Where’s Young Master Nian?”
Qin Cheng Yu asked, his tone calm but firm.
“He said he wanted to rest alone in the room,”
Johnny replied.
Qin Cheng Yu raised an eyebrow, the tension in his chest dissipating instantly.
Once Johnny left, the noises from Ye Kang’s room grew louder,
irritating Qin Cheng Yu further. Standing up, he walked toward Nian Jin Sui’s room.
Inside, Nian Jin Sui was resting with his eyes closed when he heard the door open.
Assuming it was Johnny again, he frowned impatiently.
“I told you I don’t need—”
He stopped mid-sentence when he saw who it was. His eyes lit up.
“Qin Cheng Yu! What are you doing here? Didn’t you go for the ‘oil detox’ thing?”
Qin Cheng Yu glanced him over, confirming that his clothes were intact, and replied,
“Nian Shao didn’t either.”
“That means we’re both still pure, haha!”
Nian Jin Sui joked, grinning.
Qin Cheng Yu said nothing, but when Nian Jin Sui didn’t get up, he realized something was off.
“Are you feeling unwell, Young Master Nian?”
“I’m anemic again. No strength at all,”
Nian Jin Sui replied nonchalantly, then asked,
“Is Ye Kang still in his room?”
“Yes,”
Qin Cheng Yu answered succinctly.
“Then I’ll just lie here for a while,”
Nian Jin Sui said lazily.
Qin Cheng Yu glanced around the room, his dislike evident.
Knowing what this room was typically used for made him uncomfortable.
“Who knows when Young Master Ye will be done. It might take a while,”
Qin Cheng Yu said, clearly wanting to leave.
“I’d leave too if I could, but I can’t even get up right now…”
Nian Jin Sui replied helplessly.
“Wait here for a moment, Young Master Nian.”
Qin Cheng Yu left the room, returning shortly after with both his and Nian Jin Sui’s clothes, along with a wheelchair.
“Qin Cheng Yu, I don’t have much strength… Help me change clothes,”
Nian Jin Sui said casually.
After all, Qin Cheng Yu had already rescued him from the bathtub before.
Helping him change clothes was no big deal.
Qin Cheng Yu observed Nian Jin Sui’s relaxed expression.
How can someone be so unconcerned, so completely lacking in vigilance?
Does he think so little of me as a Beta?
Lost in thought, Qin Cheng Yu helped Nian Jin Sui change.
As his hands moved to fasten the buttons on Nian Jin Sui’s shirt, his gaze lingered momentarily on the pale skin of Nian Jin Sui’s chest.
There, near his heart, was a faint red mole—
a single speck of crimson against snowy white skin, like a red plum blossom in the snow.
Even someone as composed and indifferent as Qin Cheng Yu couldn’t stop his throat from tightening slightly.
Beautiful.
He finished buttoning the shirt, covering the sight.
“Young Master Nian, lower your head,”
Qin Cheng Yu instructed.
“Oh,”
Nian Jin Sui complied, leaning his head down as Qin Cheng Yu adjusted his collar.
Qin Cheng Yu’s gaze fell on the back of Nian Jin Sui’s neck—where an Omega’s gland was located.
It was exposed, defenseless.
If he were an Alpha, he could bite into it, injecting his pheromones into Nian Jin Sui’s body.
But he was just a Beta, posing no threat.
The thought startled Qin Cheng Yu, and he paused for a moment.
Why would I think something so absurd?
Ridiculous.
I have no desire to be an Alpha, controlled by pheromones and instincts.
Being a Beta—rational and unaffected—is far better.
Pushing the thought aside, he focused on finishing the task.
Lastly, he put a sock and shoe on Nian Jin Sui’s uninjured foot and lifted him effortlessly into the wheelchair.
As they exited the room, Nian Jin Sui immediately picked up on the sounds coming from Ye Kang’s room.
His ears! Polluted!
“This place has terrible soundproofing. One-star rating!”
Nian Jin Sui grumbled.
“Let’s go, Qin Cheng Yu.”
Qin Cheng Yu quickened his pace, pushing the wheelchair out of the club.
“Do you usually enjoy massages, Young Master Nian?”
Qin Cheng Yu asked pointedly.
“I—! My massages have always been innocent! I’ve never done this ‘oil detox’ nonsense before!”
Nian Jin Sui exclaimed defensively.
“Don’t get the wrong idea!”
Qin Cheng Yu didn’t respond, simply wheeling him out of the building.
Back at the Nian family home, the butler, Uncle Liu, greeted them.
“Young Master, the kitchen prepared mung bean and seaweed soup. It’s detoxifying and very good for you. Would you like a bowl?”
“Detoxifying…”
Nian Jin Sui twitched.
“No thanks. I’ve had enough of the word ‘detox’ for a while.”
