SDS: Chapter 60
"Did He Actually… Do That to Me?!"
Qin Zhiyan's hand rested on Tang Keyi's fair neck, forcefully suppressing the urge to let his fingers wander downward.
He knew that if his hand moved even an inch lower, he would likely lose control.
"I'll punish you next time."
Qin Zhiyan tightened his embrace around Tang Keyi, closed his eyes, and quietly steadied his breathing to calm his desire.
——
When Tang Keyi opened his eyes and saw Qin Zhiyan, he was momentarily dazed, thinking he was still taking an afternoon nap with him at the office.
But as his memories returned, he recalled getting drunk at the KTV last night.
Why is Qin Zhiyan here?
Never mind how he got here—hug first, ask questions later!
[Yanyan, I missed you so much!!!]
Tang Keyi burrowed deeper into Qin Zhiyan's arms, quickly rousing him from sleep.
"Be good. Don't fuss."
Qin Zhiyan had flown several hours to get here yesterday and was exhausted. He just wanted to sleep in while holding Tang Keyi.
Tang Keyi stared at Qin Zhiyan's slightly narrowed eyes, still heavy with sleep, and felt his heart overflow with sweetness. He wrapped his arms tightly around Qin Zhiyan's waist, refusing to let go.
Burying his face in Qin Zhiyan's chest, he asked,
"Did you miss me so much that you flew here just to see me?"
"Mmm." Qin Zhiyan responded in a low voice.
Tang Keyi felt the faint vibrations of Qin Zhiyan's chest and grinned to himself.
[Qin Zhiyan is way too clingy! He can't bear to be apart from me—what am I supposed to do about this?]
Qin Zhiyan slowly opened his eyes. Now that he was awake, it was time to settle some scores.
Grabbing the back of Tang Keyi's collar, he pulled him out of his embrace and asked sternly, "Do you remember what happened last night?"
Seeing Qin Zhiyan's unusually serious expression, Tang Keyi tried to recall.
He only remembered getting drunk—everything after that was a blank.
Hesitantly, he answered,
"I got drunk last night, and then you came to pick me up?"
Noticing Qin Zhiyan's displeasure, Tang Keyi assumed he was upset about him breaking his promise not to drink too much.
He quickly tried to appease him,
"I was wrong. I didn’t drink that much—I just didn’t expect to get drunk so fast."
Back in the capital, who would dare drug the young master of the Tang family?
Despite frequenting nightlife scenes for years, Tang Keyi had never encountered anything like last night’s incident, so he simply assumed he’d gotten drunk normally and didn’t think much of it.
After this incident, Qin Zhiyan realized Tang Keyi was far too carefree and trusting of strangers. He decided to use this opportunity to teach him a lesson.
"You always boast about having a high alcohol tolerance,"
Qin Zhiyan said pointedly.
"Last night, you were completely blackout drunk. You really don’t remember anything?"
Tang Keyi finally sensed something was off.
Even when drunk before, he’d never had complete memory loss.
Now that he thought about it, he truly couldn’t recall a single thing after passing out.
Seeing Tang Keyi’s dawning realization, Qin Zhiyan got out of bed.
"Get up. After breakfast, we need to go to the police station to give statements. Don’t use the bathroom yet—you’ll need to take a urine test."
Tang Keyi sat frozen on the bed, mouth agape in shock.
It took him a while to process the words.
"Urine test? I was drugged? And we have to go to the police? What the hell happened last night?!"
Qin Zhiyan wanted Tang Keyi to stew in anxiety for a bit—to make sure he remembered this lesson. He replied deliberately,
"What do you think someone would drug you for?"
Tang Keyi felt like he’d been struck by lightning.
He stammered, unable to form a coherent sentence.
[Did I… did I get violated?]
[My butt doesn’t feel sore, so probably not that…]
Qin Zhiyan’s temple throbbed. It was too early in the morning for this kind of provocation.
He quickly cut off Tang Keyi’s spiraling thoughts.
"Luckily, I got there in time—nothing happened. Go wash up. Stop overthinking."
Qin Zhiyan pulled the shell-shocked Tang Keyi out of bed and guided him to the bathroom.
After squeezing toothpaste onto his toothbrush, he handed it to him and said patiently,
"Brush your teeth and wash your face. I’ll get changed. Remember—no bathroom breaks."
Once Tang Keyi started brushing, Qin Zhiyan left to change.
He had just taken off his shirt when Tang Keyi came rushing out in a panic.
"My… my ears are red, and my lips… they seem… they’re kinda…"
Tang Keyi couldn’t bring himself to finish.
While brushing his teeth, he’d noticed his lips were slightly chapped. Upon closer inspection in the mirror, he also saw his earlobes were red and swollen.
The more he thought about it, the more distressed he became.
[I must’ve been assaulted!]
[I’m tainted…]
[Should I tell Qin Zhiyan? Will he be disgusted with me?]
Seeing Tang Keyi’s pale face, Qin Zhiyan instantly regretted scaring him.
Last night, while cleaning Tang Keyi, he’d already checked—there were no suspicious marks on his body.
Given Tang Keyi’s sensitive skin, any rough handling would leave traces.
If someone had truly touched him, it would’ve been obvious.
The marks Tang Keyi mentioned were clearly from Qin Zhiyan the night before.
Walking over, Qin Zhiyan grabbed a tissue and wiped the toothpaste foam from Tang Keyi’s mouth—he’d been so panicked he hadn’t even rinsed properly.
"You were very affectionate when drunk last night—you kept trying to kiss me. So don’t worry, I was the one who kissed you."
He shifted the blame entirely onto Tang Keyi.
Though still unsettled, Tang Keyi felt slightly reassured by Qin Zhiyan’s words.
Now that he saw Qin Zhiyan shirtless, Tang Keyi didn’t have the mind to admire his eight-pack abs—his attention was drawn to the bruises on Qin Zhiyan’s body.
"You’re hurt?"
Qin Zhiyan had originally planned to play up his injuries for sympathy, but seeing Tang Keyi’s frightened expression, he couldn’t bear it. He grabbed his shirt to put it back on.
"It’s nothing. Just minor bruises."
Tang Keyi snatched the shirt away, furious.
"Minor or not, it’s not okay! Who hurt you? Tell me! I’ll avenge you!"
[What kind of man can’t even protect his own wife?!]
Seeing Qin Zhiyan’s silence, Tang Keyi understood.
"Did you get hurt… saving me last night?"
He had pieced most of it together—those so-called friends must’ve drugged him with ill intentions.
Thankfully, Qin Zhiyan arrived in time to rescue him.
Outnumbered, Qin Zhiyan had gotten hurt protecting him.
The more Tang Keyi thought about it, the guiltier he felt. It was all his fault for being so careless, not only getting himself into trouble but also causing Qin Zhiyan harm.
His self-reproachful look made Qin Zhiyan’s heart ache, and he regretted his decision to teach him a lesson even more.
I should’ve just kept it from him.
I’ll just keep him by my side from now on.
Pulling Tang Keyi into his arms, Qin Zhiyan comforted him,
"Tangtang, I’m fine. Don’t be upset."
Tang Keyi pressed his lips together tightly, refusing to speak.
Qin Zhiyan patted his back soothingly.
"Really, I’m okay. So just promise me you’ll be more careful from now on, alright? You have no idea how bad it could’ve been last night. If I’d been even a minute later, the consequences would’ve been unthinkable. Even now, the thought terrifies me."
Under Qin Zhiyan’s reassurance, Tang Keyi gradually calmed down.
With no fabric barrier, Tang Keyi’s hands rested directly on Qin Zhiyan’s waist.
Slowly, his thoughts began to wander…
